This very moment, a butterfly flutters it's wings, a whale breaches out of the ocean and a star in the farthest reaches of our galaxy goes into supernova. This is a very special moment!

Thank you for being here.

Delivering a great experience is not rocket science! It can almost always be over-simplified for its end goal. However, to truly understand it at an anthropological level, it can become insanely complicated.

This is why the entire UX process; as a whole; can have a significant impact on the quality of an evolving product or service. And it is also why many companies continue to invest in UX in order to stay ahead and succeed.

What's most intriguing to me; is that there's always something to learn, whether it is from research, usability testing, data analysis or simply over a casual and honest conversation...

Scrum is an iterative and incremental Agile methodology for managing complex projects. The foundation of Scrum is empirical, which is to say that any knowledge gained, comes from experience and therefore, decisions are made based on what is learned from each team and its unique projects.

Studies suggest that 71% of organizations use Agile methods and have found that they are 28% more successful than traditional projects.

Can a UX Designer potentially work with a Scrum team?
Of-course they can! They can even get certified as a ScrumMaster and improve the UX maturity within the organization.

Back in 2010 while practicing interior design, I had an urge to deliver presentations with photorealistic renderings in Vray. And this meant dialing in a virtual camera setting, so the output image could be simulated accordingly.

And so I bought my first camera to start learning about these techniques.

Call it accident or destiny, but that's how I discovered my love for

photography and it took me to places I would have never imagined.

When our CTO interviewed me for my current position, I was working as a UXD at Whirlpool Corporation in Benton Harbor, MI. He asked if I wanted to stay the winter there in Michigan and plough through snow or join his crack team in Austin. Without a doubt, I made the move and feel very lucky to be a part of this growing city.

Before moving to US, I've lived for long periods in different countries; including Australia, Malaysia and Bangladesh. The opportunity to live amongst diverse cultures around the world nurtured my mindset and build empathy with all the wonderful people I've met over the years.

I love hiking and being in the outdoors, playing my guitar and ukelele and I can survive without coffee!
